Formpak GHS Activities

Formpak software can help manage the complex requirements of the Globally Harmonized System, including the European CLP.

Our software is being developed as a full solution to enable users to store and respond to the new types of information, including the ability to generate compliant labels and safety data sheets for substances, and perform safety assessments on mixtures according to the methods laid down in the legislation - all at the touch of a button.

By December 2010, all Formpak users will be up and running with GHS processes, including compliant labels and Safety Data Sheets in accordance to the changes outlined in REACH Annex II amendments. Something to smile about at last!

Formpak activities will continue to be focussed in three main areas:

  • Understanding the legislation in great detail, monitoring new guidance, determining how this impacts customers
  • Implementing software solutions within the Formpak system to enable customers to manage the changing requirements seemlessly, including communication of safety information through Labels and Safety Data Sheets
  • Being a direct resource for customers on legislation matters. Informing the wider community through giving talks at seminars.
