Batch Import Items

Batch import items can be used to import items from another Formpak system. The items to be imported are contained in a zip file.

1. Save the item zip file to a convenient location, e.g. the desktop of your computer
2. Go to ‘Batch Import Items‘/li>
3. Select ‘Browse‘ and select the item zip file
4. The default options can be modified if needed, for example:
   1. ‘Modify Existing Items‘ can be altered to ‘yes’ – if you want to update existing items.
   2. ‘Ignore missing properties‘ can be checked – if you want to ignore missing properties.
5. Press the ‘Import‘ button
6. Items will be imported and results will be shown in the ‘Import results‘ area.

Failed Import Notes

Items can fail to be imported if there are missing properties or if the item class does not exist. Missing properties can be added using ‘Add a New Property‘, and then repeat the import process. Or missing properties can be ignored if they are not needed (see 4.2 above).

Missing item classes can be added using ‘Add a New Item Class‘ and then repeat the import process.
