Permission Changes for Cross References from Version 45179

If you use the Cross References feature, there have been some changes to the Application Settings and User, Role permission set up.

This version update now has an Application Setting to enable Instant Search on Cross References, this has been switched off in Application Settings, Cross References:

There has also been a change to Cross Reference Permissions within a Party Class. This is to enable stricter restrictions to Users/Roles

The Permissions changes are located in Manage a User’s Permissions on Parties and Manage a Roles Permissions on Parties.

Set the Permissions on which specific Party Classes Users are able to ‘Create’ ‘Modify’ and ‘View’ Cross References for. You may only have one Party Class for Customers, but in the future this will allow you to have different Customer Party Classes and set which Users can update which Party Classes. For example you could have Formpak specific customers in their own Party Class.
